Cartridge Throwback: Fabulous Finds
Happy Monday to you! Today we have a new feature for you called “Cartridge Throwback”. Periodically, we will be pulling out an older or retired cartridge and showcasing it with a FRESH idea! We want to help you see your existing Cricut cartridge library with new eyes, and help you find ways to use the supplies you have already invested in. Enjoy!
Today Deanna Misner is sharing with us a scrapbook page using the Fabulous Finds cartridge. This cartridge features all kinds of doodads like hinges, bookplates, clips, tags, buckles, tabs, and MORE! If you are looking for that perfect finishing touch to your project and you’re not sure what to add . . . try one of the images from the Fabulous Finds cartridge!
Here Deanna uses clipboard, file folder, and tab images to create this adorable page of her children. We love the way she created a “case file” on each one of them describing their unique personalities.

Boys Will Be Boys!
Summer days are just around the corner and with that comes the mischief of little boys! Check out this adorable scrapbook page created by Amy Mitchell using the Boys Will Be Boys cartridge and April Showers Seasonal cartridge.
Amy enlarged the rounded square and circle shapes from the Boys Will Be Boys cartridge to create the background for her page design. The rocket, title and stars are also from the Boys Will Be Boys cartridge. The happy clouds can be found on the April Showers Seasonal cartridge.
QUICK TIP:
Print your photos in black and white to help them stand out from the colorful designs and patterns contained on the rest of your page.
We love the way Amy added definition to her Cricut cuts with a few friendly strokes of a pen. She used both black and white pens to create the exhaust on the rocket . . . doesn’t it feel like it’s ready to ZOOM off into outer space?!
Titles for your scrapbook pages are a breeze when you cut a phrase from coordinating cardstock. Add a button or two embellished with twine and you have an immediate eye-catching effect!
