………………………………………………………………..

Hi everyone!  Roree here.  World Card Making Day is tomorrow Saturday, October 1st, and it is the perfect excuse to take some time for yourself to make some cards.  I created a notecard set in honor of this day.  The set would be very easy to re-create for yourself or to give to a friend as a gift.

I was feeling in a Fall-kind-of mood, so that is the direction I went in.  I created a set of monogram cards in a Autumn color scheme.  I used the Formal Occasions cartridge to create the scalloped frame, the Doodletype cartridge for the letter and the heart shape, and the Doodlecharms cartridge for the leaf shapes.

Even though I kept the design the same on all of the cards, I used different patterned papers to give each card a unique feel.  But since the patterns are coordinating, the cards still feel like they are part of a set.

To give the set to a friend as a gift, you can tie them together with some ribbon and add a small tag with a sentiment or personal note.

Thanks so much for letting me share my project with you all today.  Enjoy!
