Notecard Set for a Special Friend
Hello! Kristen here with a fun card set I have created. The crafting industry has really become popular in the last several years. I create with my kids, and family and friends often get the benefits of my crafting and baking forays, but I love sending surprise gifts in the mail to special people. I have someone in mind that I’m going to be sending these to, and I think she will be very happy to receive them. As a crafter of a different sort, she appreciates the hard work that goes into making a set of cards such as these. And to know that I am creating something that helps me share my passion for crafting with someone who might not be into paper crafts but understands the drive, is really important to me.

I used teacups and teapots as my theme, creating my cards with coordinating papers which are very vintage and floral. I also added the same flowers that I have spray misted, the same crinkled ribbon bows, glitter, inking and even the same diecut shapes behind all the teacups/pots. This keeps the set looking similar even though each main diecut is different then the others.

For each teapot I added my flower and crinkled ribbon to the center, it keeps the card balanced and adds more detail to the teapots. I also added glitter to the pots on the bottom, top and handles.

The teacups were treated much the same way as the teapots, however to keep them from being too covered by the ribbons, I added the flowers more to the side of the cups.

I even added some drops of spray mist on the cups, which I love the look of, since it looks a bit like tea stains.

I hope you like my card set and it inspires you to create something to share your crafting passion!

Very creative and ornate…they remind me of something Anna Griffin would do. Beautiful !
These cards are gorgeous. I love the spots on the tea cup. Very clever idea. I am sure your friend will love the cards.
Lovely, really lovely!
Wow!!! Super gorgeous cards!!! Love the flowers and all the sparkle!!
This project makes me think of my grammie.
I have a Tea Cup collection that was started by my God Mother. Lets just say a long time ago. I know have been giving them to my Grand Daughter. We so love our Tea Partys and these would make beautiful invitations. I can’t wait for her to see these. She want to do a Fairy Tea Party for her Birthday. Thanks for sharing and they really are beautiful.
These are gorgeous! I love the vintage feel of them.
